 Answer:

Here I am giving response about the text, “To the lighthouse”, which is totally based on the stream of consciousness technique. Virginia Woolf, the writer of the novel herself concentrates on the well debated topics like male-dominant society and where women have to sacrifice her personal desires. That is what we can say that the current topic in the literature which is highlighted by Virginia with the help of female characters as well as male character.
In this novel, “To the lighthouse” Mrs.Ramsay’s character has all the characteristics of the ideal women, loyal to her husband and to her children. Is it required to narrate another character like Lily?!! Answer can be no but here the debate takes place with the comparison of two types of women: one who lives for her family and the another who lives for her work and believes that work or art is worship for them. Mr.Ramsay is portrayed as tough and strict man for the family as the head of the family, to whom Mrs. Ramsay is loyal wife. The attraction to the lady who works for herself and a lady who works for all members has different perspectives.
At the end of the novel when Lily speaks that, you are fool!!! Is represents her think ability and self realization that she could not be like Mrs. Ramsay. The last lines:
“Open the windows, and close the door” – is showing that there is some importance to the minor things which is not actually minor.

 Answer:
Here is my Blog review of Chetan Bhagat's "One Night At The Call Centre".

                                                       Contemporary issues in On@tcc

a) Obviously the given statement is about Chetan Bhagat, who is the only spirit for youngsters in the countries like India. I am saying countries like India because there are struggles to get work or to get handsome monthly income. Chetan Bhagat uses the narrative method which evokes the common man not in favor of the politicians, industrialists, Bosses of the company. Yes the power position is mentioned in the texts but by not giving them much importance he is trying to satisfy our hidden struggling common man, who is in majority. As sir you told us before that the power goes to them who have numerous people or strength of the Mass.
b) This is difficult to think about its necessary in the text but Shashi Tharoor is telling here that how or which aspects makes him pitch perfect and is that when the characters like Vroom, Shyam, Radhika, etc. – these characters have impact of scrutinizing the things which came to them, it is common psychology and we could not say that why it is stated in the text. But indirectly here writer have more knowledge about the mindsets of the people and what they actual destined to think over the situations. Thus, regarding to the common man or the background to which Chetan Bhagat is belonging is well reflected here in the statement by Shashi Tharoor.
c) Sir here I am facing confusion about undercurrents but I am getting it as a bloodsuckers like in relation between master and slave, there will be the problem for the slave person not to the master. In the novel On@tcc Chetan Bhagat introduces the youngster’s because they won’t any chance to let the chance go or wait for the good job. For a shortly income they have to work hours and hours but after this who will be the happy man!!! Answer is that the master or boss of the company who makes rules for company’s employees, to follow it politely. Thereby company will throw away an employee who is working there just to earn and may following the rules and regulations but here having power position and authority is important.
d) In On@tcc Chetan Bhagat has stated issues in the society in which we are living has social norms which affects each and every human beings in the class or community. The So-called rules, rites, traditions, regulations, gender bias, money problem, family problems, business, education, etc. – each and everything is legally connected to the rigidity of the people which leads by tradition by tradition in the society or in work place. Chetan Bhagat is describing these troubles in his written books.
e) Here I want to say that I don’t know enough but trying my best. From my point of views what Chetan Bhagat is writing is not childish thing although many critics may consider him as a childish writer but rather he is not following the stereotypical may be in the Literature it may know as the deconstruction of the ideas. More precisely his narrative techniques are well represented and not so complex to understand that what he actually thinks about the system and Indian tradition. He is well profound in the literary concerns- it’s my views according to this question which is related to S.T. Coleridge’s idea for Wordsworth.

                                                           Menippean Satire

The Menippean satire that is known as serio-comic satire. In this text On@tcc Chetan Bhagat has presented in a direct method with the help of the characters like Bakshi, Radhika, Esha, etc. But when Priyanka has declared that she is going to marry Ganesh, whom her mother has selected as her life partner, Priyanka and Shyam were unhappy. Although her mother was against Shyam. But it creates seriocomic atmosphere when the problem of traditional marriage system comes.
Another example of the great Indian chamcha comes when Bakshi was calling all of the employees to work at night and also they came. Nobody has denied to come there, because they were really very noble their Boss Bakshi. Thus Indian mindset takes place here in the Call Centre. One more example from the text is that is about Military uncle, who was not living his daughter-in law and his son and also his grandson, but to live with them he is accepting his daughter in law’s faults and starts living with them. It gives lesson that if the person who is against you is not accepting then we should accept our mistake. Once we have banned in front of powerful people that is called as a kind of Chamcha.

Hamlet: movie and play conflicts

This is my first comment of post viewing task or movie's review to you. It is so difficult for me to give answer from my perspective.
When I saw the movie HAMLET, I inspired that Hamlet will goes on regretting that his father was no more. The movie starts with the scene of statue projected in the movie and this scene was attempted at night, when there was heavy raining we can also see in that scene. After this scene Horatio was came to visit Hamlet but at that time he and other soldiers fond that someone is came to them and unfortunately that ghost was of Hamlet's father King Hamlet. Although Horatio was not believe in ghost or any other superstitions too. Certainly, the scene of the palace visualizes when Hamlet was not happy with the marriage ceremony of his mother. So in this scene we could see the hatred of Hamlet towards his mother and his uncle who takes place of his father. Before this we found a scene in which Horatio and those soldiers talks about ''CLOUD AND SON’’; the metaphorical language.
As the story moves; I felt catharsis as Aristotle describes in his book, when Hamlet comes to meet his father. It was second ghost scene of the movie. Thereby the story moves as presented in the original story. Shakespeare who wrote Hamlet, he uses the elements of catharsis, metaphor, simile, etc. He adopted the technique of 'THE PLAY WITHIN THE PLAY'. But from the starting there was the reference of FORTIBRASS, who also wanted to take revenge and to ruled over the Denmark. Hamlet at once told that it was only rotten state.
When the NUNNERY SCENE DONE by Hamlet and Ophelia, I we again fall in the emotion of catharsis. Hamlet called some dramatists to the palace to perform the play of Hecuba; by this Hamlet wanted to know that Claudius feels guilty or not. Hamlet became succeed in his task.
When the movie was near to its end we found the one Aristotelian theories major point that Hamlet speaks some eternal and external lines to his friend Horatio. We got the flashback technique very well to understand the situation. Hamlet speaks a line: ''They are not near to my constrains'' - this line occurred by Hamlet himself for his both the friends who were sent to England behalf of him.
At the end of the movie I saw the scene in which Hamlet was taken up by soldiers on their shoulders and the dead Hamlet created the imagination of JESUS CHRIST. And also the fall of the statue is not introduced by Shakespeare. Thus we could observe that these two scenes are not projected in the original text. Although, the film maker projected it very well.

The sense of an ending

The Worksheet review of "The sense of an ending" by Julian Barnes

Worksheet link of the text is here ...

Here is my review of the text "Sense of an ending" by Julian Barnes, who has crafted the language which we use in day to day life. Which has universal appeal with many people and the narrative techniques. Myth is a form for the people it is any form of rigorous in itself, it is try to critical evaluate the world. Myth converts history into nature. Where Tony Webster revisits his memories which is me4rely fragmented so there is interpretations of his past what he understood thoroughly.
The word, "Bach then", which goes on coming in the text. Adolescence= Time= Where children uses the abusive language for their own parents because mother is passes away with someone else, thus there is no deep feelings for mother. Adrian was meritocratic person. Retrospectively imposed meaning on what might or might not have happened, for this I can give the example of the movie," The Life of Pie", where introduces himself as a tiger(not a human). Another concept is of Thelma and Lousie, the video which shows the end which is not normal but happy end by the characters itself. In the case of Adrian Finn this happens rigorously.

Waiting for Godot

This is my review of the play, "Waiting for Godot"

The Worksheet of the review blog

Answer:

Here is my review of the movie screening of “Waiting for Godot”, where the concepts like existentialism and the theatre of Absurd. The setting of the play is very symbolic in itself where it looks like bareness and it seems that there something is destroyed. However the main concept is focusing on its absurdity which has background of this emptiness.
In the second act, on the barren tree there some leaves had symbolized because it has something grown as a hope and as a waiting is worthily but actually it is not. Whereas in the both acts there in evening time the moon rises and it shows that after each day there is an existence of evening eventually it is subjected as darkness and brightness according to me.  “Nothing to be done” that means waiting is meaningless but Estragon and Vladimir has an unfortunate hope in their mind.

Hamlet

This is my first comment of post viewing task or movie's review to you. It is so difficult for me to give answer from my perspective.

The Da Vinci Code

Answer:

In this novel Dan Brown has stated that he never used Holy Grail as his research material and if we talk about the myth and religion which has proves related to the history and somewhere we can say that Winners writes the history. According second question in post-viewing task, I will not go deep into the views of Norris but yes Christianity may unhappy with the views with regards to their so faith over God.
In question 4, I found the harm which is done by we humans on the name of religion. " It is not necessary to believe in God to be a good person. In a way, the traditional notion of God is an outdated. One can be spiritual but not religious. It is not necessary to go to church and give money for many, nature can be church. Some of the best people in history did not believe in God, while some of the worst deeds were in His name". - by Pope Francis. This statement states that how humans are reacting with the name of religion. So far in the text we can say that similarly Silas was doing the same thing in the presence of the other characters. He was killing kind people and he was thinking that he is doing the fair to himself and was doing the act of self purification. If we look at the context of Milton's "Paradise Lost", there we can compare the character of Silas because whatever we are doing the bad things we have to pay amount of that, in other words we can say that there should repentance takes place in one or another way. In answering the question number 3, I want to say that we are believing the truth and evidences instead of myths which we heard from our forefathers. So this text "The DA Vinci Code" has different reasons and fictional narration so youngsters likes this text more in comparison to "Paradise Lost"
According to the question number 5, I want to say that here the character of Sophie is portrayed well in comparison to other films. If we talk about significance and importance of the characters then we must think of "Scarlet Letters"  Hester Prynne, because she crosses social boundaries and similarly Sophie's character in this movie doing the same thing. It shows positive impact of the characterization.
According to the next question  we can say that 4religion or deep faith in God makes humans more cruel than practical or real. It can distract us instead of giving hope. According to the second last question's answer I can say that in this text if we do aesthetic study of the text we can say that Langdon may remain the same protagonist and if Teabing won't react like this then he can be the protagonist of the text.
There can be interaction so kindly reply to this comment if anybody finds trouble in this.
